“Let it snow!” Music and Media update

Tracks had a busy summer, with some major events including hosting a buskers stage at Kingsstock festival in Cambridge, running taster recording sessions at Big Church Day Out South and lots of local outdoor PA events, fetes and church services. This term, as we gear up for Boost, Tracks will play a major role as students work on the van and record music whilst working on key character skills.

Meanwhile, our film work continues to grow.

Taking into account Facebook and YouTube views, we have clocked nearly 10,000 views of our films online in the last academic year! So it is with great anticipation that we have started this year’s Christmas film – ‘Snowflakes’. The script is complete and we have begun rehearsals with the young people from our regular group ‘The Jam’ alongside some new members. The young people are working hard so that we are ready to launch the Christmas film on Wednesday 19th December at The Big Christmas Jam.

Please join us for this official launch!

If you’re unable to join us on the night, make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel @norwichyfc so that you don’t miss it when it is released on the same evening. The energy and creativity that these young people bring to the project is always an absolute pleasure to work with and we hope you’ll enjoy the finished product as much as we’re enjoying making it!
