Prayer/Reflective Spaces are an experiential, tangible, exploration into what prayer is. Students spend a lesson exploring how, what and who engages with Prayer.
Prayer Spaces enable students to explore the role and importance of prayer in religion using creative and interactive methods, giving a broader understanding to this practice. Although we approach this from a Christian perspective, the lesson is accessible to students of all faiths and of none. To those who are opposed to the notion of prayer, we encourage them to use the space to reflect and learn. A range of flexible resources can be adapted to pastoral aspects of school life or particular themes or festivals such as Remembrance, Christmas or Easter.
