Boost is designed to work with young people at risk of exclusion or low attendance/engagement. Working in partnership with local secondary schools, (school years 7-11 /ages 11-16) we use a relational approach to deliver accredited ASDAN courses, goal setting and practical music, media, craft and catering work.
Projects utilise our resources such as:
‘Tracks’ – a mobile recording studio.
Fully fitted kitchen allowing food preparation.
We work with small groups of up to 4 and are flexible with delivery, tailoring as much as we can to the individual.
We can offer short term or long term with an initial trial of 4 weeks. We deliver on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays but can only offer a student one day a week as the content is repeated each day.
Delivery is at Carrow House, on Level 2, 301 King Street, NR1 2TG.
Cost is £100 per day, which includes lunch and drinks (lunch provided for FSM students are then claimed back).
